At our school, we are dedicated to embedding the principles of the ‘Science of Learning’ into all our learning experiences. We prioritise rigorous, timely, and relevant professional development for our staff to maximise student outcomes. Every member of our community is both a learner and a teacher, leveraging the Victorian Curriculum to craft learning sequences that address the individual needs of our students within the context of our local and global communities. We strive to foster a safe and welcoming Catholic community that respects and values student diversity, inclusion, and well-being, and we are committed to providing the best possible learning environment for each child, supporting their development spiritually, socially, intellectually, emotionally, and physically.

Our small class sizes are a key strength, allowing for a curriculum delivery that is highly tailored to individual needs. As the needs of our community’s children evolve with the changing world, so too do our Learning and Teaching practices. We continuously adapt to maintain relevance and effectiveness, utilising current pedagogical research to determine the most effective methods and strategies for supporting learning. Our programs are underpinned by thorough data analysis aimed at continuous school improvement. We utilise both quantitative and qualitative data, such as formal and informal assessments, pre and post testing, and observations, to ensure each student makes steady progress and experiences learning growth. Consequently, our Learning and Teaching programs are carefully tailored to meet individual needs, ensuring that each child feels supported and successful in their learning journey.
